Smashbox Face Off is
a fashion/advertising/celebrity/editorial photo and film competition
that features the talent of up-and-coming photographers and directors.

It is a catalyst for young photographers and directors seeking exposure. The competition is overseen by a panel of high-profile judges that choose their top 50 submissions based on creative excellence alone. The chosen 50 images are then exhibited at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood and online at Smashboxstudios.com/Yello in November. Winners will be announce on November 29th at the Face Off opening night event.

In past years, the Face Off images have traveled off-site and many smaller group shows are formed with the prints throughout the year, expanding the exposure. 2012 also introduces two new ways to submit into the competition – the new mobile photo and mobile video categories.

Smashbox Studios is
LA’s first (and foremost) photo studio compound.
