The Buzz: Brownbook Magazine – North Africa Rising

There are certain areas of the world cool-hunters always have their eyes on: Paris. New York. Berlin. Los Angeles (oh heyyy). And you know…all of East Asia. But what I’m eyeing and enjoying right now is all that’s coming out of Africa these days. From Le Sapeurs setting fashion trends -  to a plethora of music permeating the scene (Baloji, The Very Best, Nneka, etc.), there are tons of contemporary contributions coming out of Africa to take note of. Just take a look at Brownbook 22: North Africa Rising. Brownbook‘s latest issue investigates all the moving & shaking going on within the Maghreb’s Big Five (that’s Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia…but you knew that).  Click through for more info… Read more
