Interview magazine is announcing the launch of it’s 40th Anniversary Issue…on the iPhone?! It’s true. Interview has a new application representing the biggest ever launch of a magazine in mobile format. There’s over 520 pages of content and fifteen minutes of video and audio. It’s a new leap in pushing publishing boundaries that’s hoping to work with technology rather than fight it. And we’re excited.

Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine first appeared on the scene in 1969. Now, forty years later, the mag is still “delivering its signature mix of fame, discovery, glamour, and intellect.” The 40th anniversary issue contains “an explosive mix of incredible images and candid conversations that celebrate Interview‘s impressive legacy. The pop culture mag features interviews (duh) with movers and shakers in the world of film, fashion, music, art and beyond. Look out for special interviews with today’s stars like Kristen Stewart, Lady Gaga, Mike Tyson, Winona Ryder and Wes Anderson.
The app is available now. Get it here. Now.
