Now, let’s talk about Michael Winterbottom‘s stylish, neo-noir film The Killer Inside Me. The film stars Casey Affleck as a homicidal deputy sheriff, as well as Kate Hudson annnd Jessica Alba as the women in his life (armed with ruby-red lips, retro-curls and a whole lotta sizzle). The film, based on the novel by legendary pulp writer Jim Thompson, tells the story of an “unassuming small-town deputy…[with] women problems. Law-enforcement problems. And and ever-growing pile of murder victims in his west Texas jurisdiction. However, as evidence is discovered, suspicion begins to fall on the deputy himself.”
