Assistants Show

Smashbox Studios has been supporting LA photo assistants since 1995. This June, we are proud to bring the original photo assistant’s show back to our Culver City location. The month long exhibit will showcase the work of LA Photo Assistants and aspiring photographers.

As with our Face Off photo and film competition, we are committed to getting your work seen by top working photographers, reps, producers and of course, your peers – but without the hoopla of a jury of judges or the competitiveness of thousands of entries. This is about celebrating our people – YOU.

Here’s how easy it is to submit: You send us up to 5 jpegs of your work with a submission form. We then select one (or two if they are to die for!) and notify you of our selection. You frame it up and drop it off by Tuesday, June 7th. The best part after that? We put your work up and throw an epic party.

Opening night is Thursday, June 23rd. You’re invited to celebrate with friends, drinks, music, your photography and all around good vibes, all on us! Now get to it and send those submissions in… …You can do that by clicking right here!
