The Annenberg Space for Photography hosts Iris Nights — a lecture series that brings their featured exhibit to life with hour-long lectures by photographers, notable artists and experts. We sure do love the works of photographer Kwaku Alston… and he speaks on ‘Unique Beauty’ this Thursday night! He’ll show you a selection of his celebrity and personal portraits (a must-see!), while discussing symbols of beauty in our culture and how he’s influenced by them. He’s also an extremely well-kempt advertising photographer, so he’ll probably talk about the definition of beauty in the creative industry. Get to it and RSVP, this is a special one.
